What is your definition of Homosexual?

I ask this question because I feel that the reason for so much homophobia in the world is because of a simple definition. I personally believe that gay people are gay based upon their attraction to members of the same gender. I'm interested in hearing what everyone else thinks. What makes a person gay?

for me homosexual is when a boy feels like he is a girl and when a girl feels like he is a boy,
like a boy traps in a womans body, that is lesbian,
and a girl traps in a boys body that is a gay.
honestly i have nothing against them they are all human and we should treat them fairly.
