Tell me a bit about the best mission trip you have ever been on.
For three years now I have been going to Ekaterinburg, Russia with Campus Crusade (Compas). We go over for a week or two and teach advanced English classes to university students, using the Bible as our primary text. During the two weeks we also introduce the students to the Compas team that is already there in the city year round. I think it's an amazingly rewarding trip! Not only do I get to go see another country and make a bunch of new friends, but I get to also share with them about Christ and I know that when I leave, there are still folks there to disciple them. I also email or IM with several of my students after I come home so that our friendships can grow. Honestly, I don't know who is more blessed by these trips -- the students or me!

I think both sides are being blessed, you and the students who learned from your good example. I believe that the best achievement a teacher can have is when students learn and manifest their lerning in their daily lives.
