PROBLEMS WITH MY FORD TAURUS

when i place it in gear,my power windows wont work and my steering is real hard.i can move the steering wheel tilt several times and get it back.i also wiggled the grond under the hood and it started working.what do i need to do?i would like to fix it myself,if i can...

You may just need a new batterey. You should go have it tested.

no,its not the batery.it may be the ground wires on the block or the body,but the baterey is fine...thnx

First I would replace the battery cables, both of them, Then chk. the ground wires that go to the body and to the block. make sure they are free of corrosion and are tight. Then let me know, if that does not help. OK?

I got rid of mine years ago.. i bought mine new and had transmission problems after 2 mths.. had it lemon lawed
