Go to http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html and take the quiz they have there. They will ask you questions about your beliefs and how important those beliefs are to you. Then, they will tell you which religion/denomination your beliefs fit most closely. It is simple and easy to do.

First of all, Baptist isn't a religion, It's a denomination of Christianity. Protestant is not a religion either. Protestantism is all branches of the Christian church aside from the Catholic church. And why is it you think that your parent's religion has to be the religion that you subscribe to? You should explore for yourself, read, and go to different churches if you feel so inclined, and find the religion that you feel you believe in or want to learn more about. Myself I am Christian, or a follower of Christ, but conservative or fandamentalist. But I still continue to learn about my religion and other religions as well. I am open to learning from other points of view.

**Correction** In the sentence where i said: "Myself I am a Christian...but conservative or fundamentalist," i meant to say "but NOT conservative or fundamentalist." My bad...

I am a member of The Church Of JESUS CHRIST Of Latter Day Saints, commonly called "Mormons". I was not raised as this belief. I joined after I was an adult.

I have been many things (Catholic, Buddhist, Baptist, Agnostic). Right now I'm just trying to be the best "me" I can.

I think that's great for you. Sometimes being the best "you" can be the best thing for you and those around you.
