Honestly....??

No, I don't have a hard time being honest with my friends, family, or strangers. But by the same token, I don't have trouble lying to people who I need to lie to. I say the word "need" because you have to use your lies sparingly. You can't just go around lying constantly because if you do, you'll get found out. You need to use a lie when it's really really important like getting a job. The usual reason is that lying (and effectively lying) takes a lot of work, you need to make sure that your lie is foolproof and that other people know about it (which in a way is a form of honesty). So in general, being honest is not really that hard. It's just not that easy.
