Attack of the 10 Star Raters

Lately, I have come across some 10 star rater's posts with this line at the end: why or why not. No justification, no rating. While I think that is a reasonable exchange, I do feel it is some sort of opression from these so called MyLot veterans. Anyone out there feels like they have just been bullied by these people? I don't quite understand your question, neither have I seen the statement you mentioned. But what I want to say is that I have seen some really nice veterans here and I am always enriched by many of the sensible responses they give. Maybe I was lucky? But I haven't come across bullies - yet.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean there was no actual discussion, and just a post of 'why or why not' with no explanation? Or that they post that constantly to ask people to expand on their explanation? I've seen both, so I want to be sure I'm discussing the right one!

I currently have a star of 10, I don't feel superior to anyone and I know it can drop any time just like it went up before .. mylot says those who have higher number on stars are not necessarily better members, it's just more "popular" members .. I think most people who include similar line to what you said just want to chase away spammers who say something like "I agree" in every discussion .. but I think yes , some really have a "power complex" and they like to intimidate others like what another member pointed out in a similar discussion ..
