Can a man and a woman be just friends?

There is this woman in my life now and she is the first one to say that all she wants is friendship and, so far, i am totally ok with that.
My question is, can a man and a woman who are spending most of the day together do that for any given time without losing their friendships over to something else?

Yes they can. I believe men and women can have a bonding without getting physical. My best friend is a guy and we don't have any problems based on our gender.

it could happen, and most women would say "some of my best friends are guys" but what they dont know is over 90% of those guys would take advantage of the oppurtunity if it ever presented itself. were jus waiting on them to notice that we've been here. and we were friends first. :)
