Google, I am told has a great toolbar and Yahoo, too. If I want my website ranking higher, the Alexa toolbar is the one to use. Now, if I bid on eBay often - it is a great idea to use their toolbar so I can have instant access to the items I'm bidding on. And, The next one is Instant Buzz - I need this toolbar to get tons of traffic to my website. With all the nifty toolbars, there is no more screen to use to surf the web!!!

Why you not use traffic exchange to get traffic, I never hear toolbars can improve your website rank.

Does the eBay toolbar work well? What does it include besides eBay and Paypal?

I don't use any toolbars .. in your case you may find some useful but you can just activate and deactivate one at the time when needed.. why run them all at the same time.. anyway i think non of these toolbars really give something that you can't live without.. and you get rank on Alexa for other people accessing your site with toolbar on, you don't have to even install it to get rank..

Can you explain more about Alexa? I belong to the sitepoint forum and have read a few posts about Alexa and one of the posts was that if you use the Alexa toolbar then the site rank of your website instantly goes up to the 10,000 range instead of the million+ range. Somehow I must be doing something right (without the Alexa toolbar) because my site went from the 5 million and sinking range to the 2.3 million range in the last 4 months. Still not good enough though.
