Are we (non"caucasians")(non-firstworlders) cultural bashtards ?

A lot of people all over the world grew up learning in English and French ,listening to music mainly from America ,watching mainly American movies ,TV shows,sitcoms etc and generally aspiring to (at least to some aspects of) a western-type established adult life ,morals,values ,liberties etc In short many of us rest-of-the-world inhabitants absorbed the European man's culture more efficienty than many ORIGINAL heirs of that culture .That's all OK in light of Globalization and Global culture exchange .My issue is frequently we (rest of the world etc) are treated as second-rate people by the people we "learned" and were "conditioned" to respect (since we import all or most of modern science ,art,literature,music,fashion from them),also because of the appropriation of 'western' ideals ,it is especialy painful to feel "despised" on many occasions solely on Geographical grounds . Your thoughts?
