I feel it is the responsibility of the parents to make sure children are getting a good education. I don't think they HAVE to attend a public/private school to do so. I, personally, homeschool my kids. Learning is a lifetime journey and is a shared responsibility between the parents and the teachers, whoever they may be. My children knew their ABC's when they were 2.

Thank you for the compliments! My kids are about 2 years ahead of public school. My daughter would be in the 7th grade in public school, but she's functioning just shy of 9th. I'm hoping she will get through the studies sooner and be able to attend college at a younger age. Best to you!

I believe that parents are the first teachers :) I spent some time doing this with all of my kids when they were about 3 and still help them at home now with the things that they are working on in school.
Those early years are so important for kids before they go to formal school and their minds are like little sponges. Learning games can also be a great way to play with your kids

My dd is definitely a sponge. She loves doing any and all types of school work. I guess I'm really blessed in that way.
