Any "Lost Boys" fans? I've heard they're making a sequel!

I've heard news that they're making a sequel to the 80's classic vampire film, Lost Boys! I remember those motorcycles vampire with Corey Halm, Corey Feldman and Kiefer Sutherland. Back in those days Corey Halm and Corey Feldman are quite famous but don't know what happen to them lately.
Kiefer become the supercop in 24. Things changed a lot. But the movie Lost Boys is still my all time favourites.
News are saying that the Lost Boys 2 will be a direct to DVD movie and no plans on showing in theaters.

My daughter and I loved the movie. I especially liked the grandfather's final line in the movie. I can't picture the original stars coming back for a sequel though. But I will be looking for the DVD to come out.

Yup, that final appearance of grandpap is impressive! Well, I don't think those original lost boys will be coming back to the sequels especially they're not boys anymore.

Huh, I wonder why they've decided to a sequel. Cashing in on the success of recent vampire and werewolf movies, maybe? Still, it's sort of an odd movie to be doing a sequel to. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but that would be like making a sequel to The Goonies. It's a classic, and it stands alone as it is.

I'm with you on this one, sequels are usually not so good as the original. You remind me of THE Goonies, hahaha. That's one great movie too.

I love the Lost Boys. I actually have it on DVD. The movie has a really good soundtrack too. I loved the 2 Coreys back in the 80s. I can't believe they are making a sequal. It probably won't be any good after all this time.
Oh Corey Feldman has a band. I don't know what Corey Haim is doing.

I haven't seen The Lost Boys yet, The Lost Boys has a rating of 7.1 in imdb and good user reviews in imdb.
I wouldn't have known about The Lost Boys if I didn't read this discussion, I will probably watch it soon.
I think they made 2 sequels to The Lost Boys, Lost Boys: The Tribe & Lost Boys: The Thirst
