I finally got high speed internet access!

For I don't know how long, we have had to use dial-up to get online, because there was nothing else available where we live. That finally changed a few days ago when we got Hughes Net Satelite. Although it is a little expensive, I don't want to lose it if I can help it. There is no comparison when it comes to high speed. I just hope we can afford to keep it, because I am already addicted to it.

I'm glad that you are happy with it. I had it for awhile, but it didn't work where I live. My phone company hooked up with msn high speed. Overall, it is less expensive. You might want to check into your phone company too. Meanwhile, enjoy it. It is so much better than dial up, isn't it? Blessings, M&M

I was looking into Hughs but when I saw the prices I almost fell over. For my area they wanted close to $120.00 a MONTH!!! Needless to say, I went out, bought a wireless adapter and use my neighbors signal. Cost per month .. $5.00 and a batch of home made chocolate chip cookies. Maybe you can use your earnings from myLot to help pay for the cost of the high speed internet. That wouldn't be all that fun but hey, I guess whatever works works.

We thought that we might need to downgrade to dial-up. My husband was whining. I did the same. When I go to my mother's to help her with her computer I was frustrated over how slow things downloaded on her dial-up. She has DSL now and it is faster, but not as fast as our cable.

Congratulation. I'm still hanging with my dial up here. I have no other choice available here. The dedicated line is still few miles from my house. I planed to use a wave line last year but hold it back and use the money to open my store first. Hope I can make it available before this year ends.
