Confession is one of the rituals of catholic. They used to say all there sins and ask for forgiveness and penance. But do you say all your sins? I mean sometimes i just couldnt say all my sins like having an affair with a cousin and etc. It just hard to tell it to a priest. Do you tell all?

I wouldn't confess my sins to some human that isn't any closer to God that myself. It's just stupid. Take the time to talk to God yourself. After all who forgives sins, you religious leaders that are half perverts or God? I can't believe people that follow religious leaders all the way to end no matter how perverted they are. The Catholic religious leaders have been milking believers through guilt for as long as they have been around. Talk to God and see what happens. And stop talking to humans that are a much a sinner as the rest of us. I think I would ask them what they have to confess. :)

"For all have sinned and fall short of the grace of God", as Jesus has said. Now I am not a catholic, but understand the concept of confession. The biggest thing I see in catholism is the recognizion of your sins and your willingness to make penance of such. One definition of "sin" is to "miss the mark", in religious context, to miss the mark of the attainment of God or enlightment. Think of the archer who misses the bullseye. With the misjudgment of wind, aim or the drawing of the bow, they "miss the mark". Therefore, they have "sinned". Restitution of that sin is to learn from the mistake and to avoid them in the future, therefore, hitting the mark every time in the future. But what of those "sins" we do not recognize? We constantly make the same mistakes over and over again. How do we recognize these mistakes? Would we be able to tell others about these "sins" if we do not recongnize them?
