Yahoo Publisher Network is like google adsense. It provides content based advertising. If you have any website, you can place ads on it by placing a html script or java script provided by yahoo publisher network, in the desired location. The basic requirement is a membership. However it was allowed only for americans earlier. I don't know, if there is any development that allows people of other countries. Check it out to find latest developments. If someone clicks the ad placed by yahoo, the website owner could get his accounted credited. The script provided by yahoo would search for appropriate advertisement and place the same, based on the content of the website.
