injured right before royal rumble- will he still retain his title?

I believe John Cena would retain his title. In terms of storyline, in would make more sense having john cena as the champion after royal rumble. Umaga wouldn't bring as much ratings or buzz for the WWE if he's the champ before wrestlemania. I want to see john cena being hounded by the winner of the rumble. there's still that vunerablity for the champ in the storyline. if umaga is the champ, the winner of the rumble would not stand a chance (unless it's the great khali - but ratings would drop) and there wouldn't be more storyline twists.
