Time flies when you're having fun. Sometimes a minute lasts an eternity.
It is not purely scientific ignorance which leads me to stress that there is no hard science with mathematical proof here, 'tis PHILOSPHICAL only but, then, since before Einstein's retracted "God don't play dice" statement, theoretical physics has been more of a fathless religion than a science leaving many debates on the matter to seem philosophical.
SCALING:If we consider matter (Including le grey cells) to to be microscopic perceived as macroscopic due to difficulties in observation at a quantum level. Eg our perception of chemical interaction is actually a representation of our hindered observation of quantum phenomena, many many a silly debate could ensue regarding just about everything although time or our perception thereof would be amoungst the first in the firing line.
If we quantum leap to the conclusion that the brain works on both a macroscopic and a microscopic level, just as light behaves as waves and particles it would not be unreasonable to entertain the idea that independently, within each person's mind, Time does not sometimes just seem to drag on, or fly by, but true to quantum theory, does slow down, speed up, or deviate in some strange way.
Philosophically speaking, I might just be better off with an airbrush doing Salvador Dali copies
Who Knows, probably all in the mind along with these pink furry monsters of hostile intent
