One of the best things that hit the market few months ago is the dual core processor series.
This contains 2 processors inbuilt in one, so it gives the power of two processors.
Is there any Operating system that uses the full capability of this kind of processors?

Unfortunately no operating system fully utilized the multithreading technology that would take full advantage of a dual core CPU. There are alot of games out there that do, but not much else. If you have a dual core CPU the best way to take advantage of it is to manually set the affinity for different programs in your task manager. It's a pain to do but it will keep your computer running quickly. I just wish microsoft would release a patch that would do this for me.

Microsoft has introduced the 64-bit operating system which they claim properly utilises the dual core nature of the processor. but I think the main use of the dual core processes are in the field of gaming and 3-D animation. Within the process of rendering this jewel: nature can help the production house a lot on the requirement of time and also this decreases the expenditure on certain productions and also new in heavy effects can be tried because of the latest technology . all in all it is a very deadly advancement in the world of computers
