In my college, we play touch for training every time, I tell them to play full contact but they say that touch improves agility, passing, etc.and we only play proper rugby just few days before any matches. Is this right?I mean our team is clueless when we play with other colleges, shouldnt we be playing the real rugby for training?

yes maybe you should but touch rugby is a great way to learn passing movements and this is the start of the fundamentals of rugby
