Have you notice any dramatic changes in weather in your country? Is this due to the gobal warming?

I'm not sure if it has to do with global warming but here in the US, at least in California, we've had a pretty strange winter. We've had some unusually cold days. By cold I mean 10 degrees below the normal average for that date. We've even had snow fall where it hasn't in many many years.

Something is going on...We (people) must be doing something wrong because the weather patterns all over the world have been getting a little abnormal over the last few years.

Do you think that these changes are due to our distructive activities?

global warming is just part of an ongoing climate cycle that over millions of years has created Ice Ages , extreme deserts, waterlogged swapland and has worn away whole mountain ranges. Climate change is natural and inevitable. All we can do is deal with the way it affects our lives as the reality is that we are not going to be able to stop it. I'm not saying that polotion and the waste from our society isnt causing problems, we could benifit from a cleaner planet, but climate change is a different issue all together and all we can do is live with it and be cleverer about where we build new houses and developments.

But if for centuries the climate in the different parts of the planet were stable why do we have these changes the last 10-20 years?

Im not sure but if you ask Al Gore, he will tell you "yes". here in the state of Colorado, we have had the worst winter ever. This is the 6th weekend in a row that we are having snow and we will continue to have snow this coming week. There are states here that barely see snow that are seeing snow this year and ice. Very hard for people who are not equipped to have snow or such cold weathers. Pretty soon the equator will start seeing snow...wow!

So what do you think is causing all this?

Here in the UK it's definately getting alot warmer, I can remember some 20 years ago being knee high in snow now but we haven't had more than a fleeting snowflake for many years now. Guess it's mainly down to global warming, all these noxious gases must be doing some damage to the earths atmosphere!

If the dramatic changes we see all over the globe are dur to global warming, then shouldn't we do something about it?
