students are mandated to take gym class this is a given fact. I agree that is it healthy. what i don't agree with is students are showering and changing clothes publicly. Does this infringe upon ones right to privacy? what is more private then your own personal body? but yet the schools approve of this more so your failed in gym class if you won't change into a gym suit in front of other students. This issue was brought to my attention by a high school student who refused to change into a gym suit telling the teacher, then the assistant principle and the principle of the school. he feels it invades his right to privacy while changing his clothes. What do you feel about this issue and what advise can i give this student. should he peruse what he believes is an infringement upon every student right to privacy by going to the school broad with this issue after filing a petition? or just conform to what ever else does giving up the right.

I think there's nothing wrong with changing clothes especially if your a boy and a kid. But changing clothes should have some limitations too because it is really embarassing if you will remove all your clothes in public.

you could be right, nothing wrong with changing clothes if your a boy and a kid. you think its not embarrassing if your not removing all your clothes. good points but what if your being forced to do so does that invade your right to privacy? students of the gym class have no choice they are told to change into gym suits in a public locker room or be failed for not wearing a gym suit.
