Do you believe in Karma?

I'm not exactly sure what it "truly" is, other than a sense of being and what happens. I do believe that if you are an evil person, evil will come to you and good people tend to reap good lives. BUT.. what about good people that have bad stuff happen? What's that then?

Good people that have bad things happen to them, well, it could be karma from another lifetime, if you believe in that sort of thing. Also, sometimes things that seem bad have to happen to us in order to shape us into the person that we are meant to become. All experiences in life are there for us to learn from, even though we may not always understand why.
So yes, I believe very heavily in karma. ^_^ I also believe that a positive outlook on life is essential. If you feel good and think positively, you are more likely to bring good things into your life.
Now, if only that were easier to do all the time, lol! But I try. ^_^

yes I believe in karma. I believe that in every action that we make there is an exchange reaction. And that a deed is being returned ten times fold, whether good or bad.

Well I do believe what you send out comes back to you. So if you send out good things good things will come back and just the opposite. I actually heard an interesting definition of it today. "You're rubber and I'm glue" I send out it to you where it bounces back and sticks to me. I thought that was a great way to describe it.

I guess I'm one of those people that thinks there should be a rule of Karma. It appeals to our sense of fairness. I have to say really I doubt such a thing exists, but I do refer to it when I see things that fit with the concept.
It is a small comfort when we see badness getting the upper hand, to think that somewhere down the road the balance will be redressed and the world will be in harmony once again. Everybody wants something to believe in, don't they?

I think u hit it on the head... it appeals to our sense of fairness. It's not fair if I'm a good person and don't get good back.
I guess I'm a half believer! lol

Oh I do believe in Karma-- I sure do.. I'm not sure why good people have bad things happen to them- I just think that you should always choose the best way "the right way" because Karma sure has a way of finding you.
Even if it sjust not being charged for something at the grocery store-- I tell them if I catch it-- Its just a karma thing- I wouldn't want something terrible to happen because I knowingly knew I wasn't charged for something-
I guess I'm superstitous in a way.
But I beleive if you do nice things for other people in turn someone will do something nice back for you.

I agree. And I think bad things happen for a reason too... usually to remind you of what you HAVE in life and appreciate it.

Karma just means what goes around comes around. If you do bad, bad will come back to you one day. If you're a good person and do good deeds good things will come your way. I think bad things happen to everyone now and then. Everything happens for a reason. I just don't get why bad things have to happen to those who don't deserve it.

I've questioned that before myself... bad things happen to good people... BUT I can say from experience that ALL of my bad things have created a stronger faith in me, a stronger person in me and a much better parent.
