what is reputation? does it affect our earnings?

what is the star with a number i see near users' avadars? what is the meaning of reputation? why do i have only 1 while i've seen many people with more than 7? how can we increase it? and does it affect the amount of money we earn in any way? help me please...

It doesnt effect your money, but it is used to stop spammers, who post useless and pointless thinks.

its the quality of your postings and activities of yours at mylot. like whehter you rate all the responses you get or not ,do you select a response as best response or not, and if you post short messages then also it affects your ranking and earning, so be careful while you post
