The Holy Bible says: “Praying you should not babble as the Gentiles, for they think that in the many oracles of them they will be heard. Therefore you should not be likened to them; for the Father of you knows you have a need of which things before you to request Him” (Maththaios [Matthew] 6:7-8). How do you pray?

I often lead in praying when I go to worship and I pray this way (of course not always the same): Our Holy Father in heaven, thank you so very much for all the blessings that you have given us, thank you for leading us here safely to worship you, thank you for everything Father. Father, please give us the wisdom to understand your Word, please guide us in everything we do, please keep us away from any harm, please continue showering us with your blessings, and please help us in whatever we do for your glory. Father, please forgive us for all the sins that we have done. In the name of our Lord Jesus, we pray. Amen.

I pray quietly, speaking out to God what's in my heart, what I want, everything, and thanking Him for everything that He has given me. I do not babble nor memorize prayers.

Of course when I pray alone I do it silently sometimes I even don't utter a single word just my mind do it internally for I know God can read and communicate to us by reading what's on our mind. But when I pray representing a group like my family, I make it a little louder for them to understand what I'm saying so when they say "Amen".

There is power in prayer. I think we should all pray for everyone and the world and give thanks to God when we pray.I pray all the time. I do not care if people make fun of me...I dont care if they dont believe...My boss is a Jewish carpenter.......and in my fathers house are many mansions. Prayer is so powerful, and God hears and knows every single prayer.

I bow my head when I pray. Then I ask whatever is in my heart at the time of prayer. I do not babble and my prayers are not memorized.
