When I was a kid I do believe in santa but as I grew up I found out that it was my dad. But I'm not frustrated I even felt happy that my dad was my Santa Claus. How about you whois your Santa Claus? Is there a real Santa?

Hi I wasnt sure untill whether Santa is real or its a story character. I got a clear idea when i got a chance to visit Finland which is the birth place of so called Santa. There was a big fight for claming Santas origin and finally its decided that Finland is the birth place of Santa. Here there is a Santa village which open from December to January. They create a village which opens for 2 months. There is a living Santa and for some 20 Euros you can get a picture of his. He is not the original Santa but they have continued thier tradition.

i learned that my dad was the santa claus in the family when i was 8yrs old..in that early age...not that i caught my father putting candies in my basket...he was away for overtime work and noone was home but my brothers and i was waiting for santa claus to come...b'coz my little brother needs special request..so i waited till in the morning until my dad went home and he saw sleeping in the coach he ask me why i slept in the coach told him am waiting for santa...then i realized santa is not true...the following day after x'mas...i saw my basket full of candies and with car that my little brother was in his basket already too..i knew my father was the santa papa...not claus:D

I believe in the spirit of Santa not the figure behind it. There will always be a Santa if his spirit lives on.

well, all kids really believed in santa. my case was not an exemption, when i was a kid i always hang socks outside but always disappointed that it was always empty. my family told me that maybe santa has not passed yet. more years passed and it still is empty then i realized that santa is just a concept for gift giving. now i've learned my lesson, i didn't make my daughter believe that santa is coming during christmas. i relayed to her what i learned from experience.

Well we all have different experience when we were still a kid, but yours is really exempted. But maybe if I'm gonna be a parent, I think I wont let my children believe in santa claus we would just have this exchange gift instead.

Ya I believe in my childhood too but not anymore cuz I came ti know that it was none other but my parents. But I heard that there was a saint called Nicholas who drooped gifts foor the poor children on christmas eve.His story must have inspired for the creation of a figure like Santa.
