The Holy Eucharist

He waits for us in this Most Holy Sacrament - It seems that nowadays we have forgotten the Holy Of HOlies..the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings who comes to us in the Most Holy Sacrament..He stays a prisoner of His Own Love in our Tabernacles..how many visit Him.or speak to Him?

We believe as Catholics that Jesus comes to us in the Holy Eucharist..That after the words of consecration the apperance of bread remains but not the substance.. How many here believe that Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament and that we receive Him in Holy Communion?A poem I wrote:..... Holy Communion ...... Look at me so frail so poor Touched by Him Whom I adore. O Sweetest Sacrmaent Divine Possessed by Love that knows no time. --- In this Bread and in this Wine Comes to me my Lord Divine O Sweetest Transport from Above Transform my soul into this Love ..... On my knees before this King I lift my voice and humbly sing: Jesus, Lord my God I implore Help me to understand what I adore .... Littlefranciscan(C) cannot be copied

I do believe about that! being a Catholic, our church teach us about this things and we should apply it to our life! Communion is one of the way to accept God in our own. Have a nice day ahead mah friend.

As a Catholic, I believe in those principles. Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament and we receive Him in the Holy Communion. These beliefs are pretty subjective. It merely goes with faith to fully believe these things. Faith is believing on something even without any proof. I don't to prove anything. I believe these things because of my faith.

i personally think its more of a symbollic things since no other christian religion does it. i'm guesing that the catholic chruch adopted that from a lesser known religion.

How brave of you! I even have a hard time inviting people to church and having to tell them they can't take communion. And you ask if anyone believes in the Real Presence? LOL! Way to go! I also am a part of our Eucharistic Adoration group at church, and find it difficult to explain it to non-catholics...I tend to take the easy way out and tell them we have a 24/7 prayer time in our small chapel. Chicken, I know, but as a convert, and knowing how non-catholics think, I still have a hard time explaining some things.
