Using MySpace to make money?

Anyone using MySpace to promote their business or make money? If so, how is it going? How do you go by doing it?

I am currently using it to try and get referrals for several sites I am a member to. However I think I might have a better turn out if I am only focusing on one or two sites instead of the 5+ I have...
I think I am going to change my stradgey soon.

Yeah I tried to do that once on myspace a about a year ago and it seem like no one was biting the free sign ups. LOL... it was a shame too, I made money from what I was trying to get people to sign up to. I also tried it not to long about with some free iPods and other free stuff links and no one wanted any part of it. LOL... well that was fine with me, I got my free iPod and I'm loving it.

I make hair bows and accessories for girls. I have a MySpace profile for it. I try to get all the friends I can and try to make "contact" with them frequently. I think this has helped my "business" because I've gotten orders from people I haven't known in different States. It's fun too, addicting as well.

That sounds like a nice business. I used myspace a few times to promote things but I don't use it as my number 1 way to promote. Good luck!
