cheating day

Does anyone else always have a cheating day during the week? Without fail, every Sunday night I binge on everything I can get my hands on. I eat right all week long and then blow it. And I've tried to stop myself from doing it, but for some reason I have no self control on Sundays. Does anyone else have this problem?

I uste to but then I saw myslef gaining more wieght and that was my motivation to stop. When I try to lose weight, I always give myself a goal that i'll lose this much before this time. That helps me to stay on tract and slap myself when I think i deserve a snack.

yeah i think this is a great idea, and i do plan to have one but i'm not so sure if i'd have it once a week, or once every couple of weeks, or just once month. sometimes you'd want to give in to your cravings otherwise you get depressed and frustrated. so once in a while indulge yourself into some sinful treat and burn it the next day on the gym.

my blowout day is Wednesday night. I go to college all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so after 3 days of overworking my brain I eat like a pig and get drunk as hell. Thursdays are usually a waste because I sleep all day... I study and do homework all day Friday, on Saturday I spend the day at the gym and then Sunday I study and get ready to do it all over again.....

What you need to do is not look at food as the enemy but as a friend who will help you lose weight! You can eat a lot of food as long as you eat the right portions. 1/2 of your plate should be fruits and veggies, 1/4 should be a carb (like bread or potatatoes) and the other 1/4 should be protein. I allow myself to eat deserts during the week because not allowing them will make me binge eat. I only eat a little piece of whatever it is, just to satisfy the craving. Then I go completely away from the kitchen or where ever the food is so that it is impossible for me to help myself to more. Don't feel guilty about what you are eating. If you exercise on a daily basis it also will help you because you really won't want to sabotage yourself, or you can use this as a reward so you won't feel guilty.
