OK I just need to vent a little here. I have been sitting on hold with Turbo Tax for about an hour now on and off. I am trying to use their on-line product and it is taking the State Sales Tax deduction instead of the State Income Tax deduction and there is over a $10,000 difference between the two. The guy that I speaking with sounds like kid and I don't think that he really understands the problem. He just came on the phone and told me to call the IRS to find our how to take the income tax deduction. I told him no it is your software that is calculating it right, if I was writting out the forms, I would just write the proper amount. He told me that he doesn't understand and put me on hold again. OH MY GOD! This he is driving me crazy. How can you work for a tax company and not know the tax laws. Help please, what should I do, I don't want to start all over again, it took me forever to enter the information into this program.
