My daughter in law won't let my grandkids watch it. She says it has too much fighting. I have never seen it. My grandsons love Pokemon anyway and they asked me to make Pokemon dolls and they play with them and act out their own stories. Perhaps this is better in the long run. What do you think?

My daughter is 9 and my son is 6 and they are both crazy about Pokemon. I let them watch the show the odd time as well as the movies. I also let them have the cards and video games. It is one of the few things that they agree on so I allow it. I think that there are far more violent shows than Pokemon. My kids often act out their own stories with their toy Pokemon as well. getnbuy, I love the little Pokemon doll you made. It is cute.

LOL OMG my kids were FANATICS for both Pokemon and Digimon..drove me absolutely NUTS but I let them watch the show, collect and trade the cards and play the games etc etc..they enjoyed it and it was beyond harmless so I saw no reason to not let them....I think ppl made far too much of a stink over it..

My son's love Pokemon. But sometimes I have to make them turn off the TV, because they would watch it all day, that and Spongebob. Now, I limit Television to 2 hours in the week, and 2 days in the week, no TV watching. And so far, it has been great because they are able to do other things together.
