Is the lady, next door more adorable?

In many altercations that I have overheard from my neighbours house, I have found the male of the family always comparing the women next door. This makes the lady of the house more annoyed and adds fuel to the altercation. Why is it so, that most of the men find the lady next door more adorable, then his own?

I don't think any lady is more adorable than my own. But for most men i think it's just the idea of the "girl next door" or maybe it's closer to the grass is greener on the other side...who knows? all men are different, and having said that, any man who lets his wife know he thinks about the woman next door as more than just the neighbor is a jerk.
