My husband and I are trying to get debt free but kinda stuck. He works full-time and i go to school full-time and our daughter is 2. we live with my mother, who doesn't have any money. She's living off her credit cards and from us a bit. Anyways, she watches our daughter when we can't for free. Our situation is that we need a bit more income. I can only work certain days but I also don't want my mother to be watching our daughter too much. She's already getting a bit spoiled because of it. what should we do? Should I get a job anyways? or should i just focus on school for now?

My husband and I are working on our financial freedom too. It's really hard He's a W-G7 and work more time more than before, we stopped using credit cards and this week we'll be getting our tax return and we agreed to eliminate some of the little credit card debts, we also want to cut those credit cards with high interest rates, We now separate the needs from wants. If we have extra that's the time we buy something for ourselves you know the little desires that we have in mind but we do not overspend on nonsense stuff. I recommend that you buy the Book entitled Total Money Make Over by Dave Ramsey, it really helps a lot. I can't work outside from home since I have a little one, but I do work from home and this month I earned atleast 200 bucks working atleast 1 to one hour and a half a day. We also agreed that we'll put some money to our mutual funds, and leave it there for a certain time, were not yet debt free but we know that were getting there. It's not easy and it requires lots of work but I know once we become debt free all of our hardwork will be worth it.

It's hard isn't it? We did have to get a credit card a while ago because we had to get a new printer, but we almost got that paid. It's really hard not to use credit cards. We might have to use it soon because we're running low on cash. Dave Ramsey? Humm, i think i've herad about him. I love Suze Orman! We just started contributing to our 401k, so that's a relieve, thanks for your advice!
