Strategy for Software Distributor

We are a Software Distribution company in Asia region and we distribute Microsfts. We sell software products only to our resellers. We had marketshare about more than 80% for past 2 years . But past few months our competitor has quoating very low pricing to gain more market share. As these resellers are very price sensitiv and tend to go with the lower pricing.Our strength is that we maintain verygood relationship with the partners.but when its come tothe pricing most of the reselers go for lower pricing. there is minimum that we can add as value addition coz these all softwares are standard softwares. I would like to get some ideas on how we can develop a strategy to cointer attack this problem

Well i think you cannot comepete and just reduce the prices like anything cuz that will only bear you a loss All you can do is to promote your product, what makes it unique and especially on its features Make people attracted towards, what they can buy in your price and what they can get extra, which they arent getting in the low priced product You need to learn about the common man's need first and then improvise thats called customer sensitization
