Should Ganguly Do opening With Sachin in world Cup 2007?

Ganguly is doing well as an opener recently. He has proves his present ability to do the job. I think he is the best choice for the opening position.

definitely they are the best choice ,what now india is lacking is this opening , if both are in the top there is no worry for the lower order ,they surly take off all the pressure and give some pressure to our opponent ganguly came to his old form and only needed thing is that sachin to back in his form if he is in the opening slot surely he will back in form

it would be a great idea since they are one of the finest opening pairs india had ever

this is a very good strategy by the Indian team because both the players are very good at the opening slot and they have made a lot of runs together. If India wished to do well in the World Cup when they have two get good starts during the match and I think these two players are the perfect fit for the Indian team to provide the start which they need. They are very experienced rather they are the most experienced player in the Indian team and have good cricketing brains which they can capitalise and helped India performance in the World Cup but I still feel India cannot win the World Cup because Australia is in a tremendous form and looks unbeatable with the current players playing so well for the team.

well i think its not a good strategy to let ganugally comes first ! as we all know that gangually was not in form and not playing matches since long ! so making him to open up can lower his moral and can result in poor performance ! it will be good for him to come in 2nd or 3rd down !

He is very good as he found his form back, but I dont think that placing tendulkar with him as an operner is a good idea, I think dhoni or ghambie is more suited for such place

looking at their past record together, sure. But considering the recent form of sachin, i seriously doubt him opening the batting

yes he should but not with sachin.... he may open with the new players it may be ghambir or uttappa..

of course man ,they were the best opening pair india ever had,their records speak for them ,i think india should go back with these two opener,just giv ethem the chance to prove in their last world cup
