how do you respect elder people in your country?

respest - sign of respect to elders by asking of their hand and putting it near your forehead that's what we call "blessed me _____ "

well in my country, we're showing our respect to the elder to people by saying answering with "po & opo".

i am an noth indian and we respect elders by touching their feet and saying "Party Paona"

wow! new knowledge i never knew that you touch the feet of your eldest to show you respect to them! thanks! one more thing in my country (phillipines) we asked for their hands, then bow our head put their one hand and our forehead together (we call it here "bless") ( i hope you get it i'm getting a hard time explaining it, hehehe)
