i helped a blind person to cross the road and walked him upto his centre. how much small it may appear, it gave me an immense pleasure which some good amount of money failed to give ! thank you

My nephew is a blind boy and he walways wanted to give some gifts to all his other blind friends at blind school. Yesterday was his birthday and I have him 26 gift packets (not expensive) to be distributed to his friends in remembrance of his birthday. He teaches braille.

It's two hours past noon. I guess I should wait until later this evening to post my answer but I've already thought of one. Today, I stopped myself from thinking about how much my sister hurt me and enumerating the reasons why I still should avoid her. It's a small step but it's a step to hopefully working things out with her. Right now, I miss her so much considering that she is just a few feet away in her room. I haven't talked to her for more than a month now.

I am so happy, Sisi. I can actually relate to this. We sisters used to fight so any times only to make it up.

I actually went and knocked on her door this afternoon letting her know that there's food downstairs. She, in turn, let me spend about 4 hours with the doggie. I am soooooo happy! Thanks, mimpi!

Whoo! This topic is 2 years old! Talk about a comeback..... The good thing I did today is nothing like helping a blind person accross the road at all! But we have a new guy in the office that makes the tea and coffee etc. He is from Sudan and he does not speak English at all. He has come up to me several times over the last few days very nervously to ask if he can borrow my lighter; so today I bought a lighter and gave it to him. Sure it's nothing major but it made him very happy.
