Foods to help you relax

Some have suggested that certain foods eaten before bedtime will help you relax and sleep better. Some of these foods are: bananas, chamomile tea, warm milk, honey, potatoes, oatmeal, almonds and flaxseeds. What do you think? Have you ever tried any of these? Food can certainly make me sleepy. What concerns me is that some of these are breakfast foods. That won't work!

I have only tried the tea to relax. I'm not too sure if the other ones work or not but I would also like to know. I have a hard time falling asleep at night so anything natural that works would be a really big help. Maybe I will try the oatmeal. Thanks!!

I had heard of the tea and the milk but I have never heard of the other things, I hope you get some more answers on this one...

Thanks for your response. I am sure there are people who can respond from their own experience.
