Toy for kids or computer games?

Making toy in front of our kids is teaching them to be creative. or at least help them to build some thing. These days, computer games and play station had rule all the kids mind. Do you think the computer games help the kids to grow and develop their brain or the other way around? or is it depend on the games they played?
