A lot of international aid, both through the U.N. as well as individual nations already goes to Africa but unfortunately a lot does not need those really in need. I do not think there is a lot that the world can do unless the nation's population is prepared to help themselves by insisting on free elections, monitored by the UN if necessary. They will also have to start putting in their own crops etc because only so much can be done without the Africans also helping to build their country. I know that Africa is a dry continent but so is Australia and we have ample food to feed the population plus we give some to other countries as aid as well as exporting more. I would like to see the situation improved but do not think it can happen without the African nations also working towards becoming self-sufficient.

Never...it will always be the same. A lot of people are helped but those remain that never get help. They keep having more kids and that just adds to their problem.

Ok i would have to admit you are in the places where ppl are starving! You have to be careful tho one way to try and get more jobs and promote Africa is Tourism!PPl might be abit scared to go to a country like that!Disease suffering. There are other places in Africa which are not like that!I do agree tho those kids need as much help as they can get!

Sadly it is a very long time away every country like america and england and others that are rich countrys. The problem is most of them don't care so they do nothing to help them.

I am not discourageing you. I just feel that is quite immpossible. Though many countries are coming forward, the resouces aren't reaching the lot. Africans also need to take the situation into their own hands. I read an article about a group of african programmers. They are very succesful. Situations change with effort. It was difficult for them in the beginning. But they made it big. So I hope you get my point......

Just like how Indians and Chinese together ahve to realise the gravity of the situation (population explosion).....similarly, africans have to take the matters into thier own hands.....

Whom to blame? That remains a cursed area in the globe. The unstable Govts of many countries play an important role in this. The rain is not the sole reason to say.

It makes me sick to think of all the children that die every day from starvation, not only in Africa but in other places too. It is disgusting the amount of food that North Americans waste. I think it is wrong that the world is so out of balance. There is really plenty of food to go around, if the wealthy weren't so greedy and wasteful. I have no resolution to this problem. I am sorry.

When Africa gets governments who actually try to help their people, they will find a way to prevent the hunger.

Africa is a huge continent rich in natural resources. These need to be utilized more fully. Also, something needs to be done to lower the birth rate. The enormous population leads to lack of adequate food supplies. The people need to be educated so that they can learn to better help themselves.
