World Economic Forum !!! Whats going on? Please tell me.

The World Economic Forum is going on in Davos, Switzerland.
Can anyone tell me what this is all about. Most of the CEO's, Political leaders are participating in it. Main topics of discussion are Global Warming, Web 2.0 etc etc.
What are they trying to convey with such forums...Please tell me..
