I went to bed early last night but when I woke up (8 hours later) I feel so groggy. I'm not tye type of person who can go back to sleep so that isn't an option. What is the fastest way to get the groggy feeling to go away?

Me, I can go back to sleep pretty easy as long as I'm not uncomfortable... I'm a very hard sleeper, sometimes it's hard to wake me up...lol Normally when I wake up and I'm groggy feeling, I lay in bed for a few minutes before I get up to give my body prepared...Sometimes I hate waking up to get ready for work...I just spend a few minutes watching tv or something before start my day...

usually once i am awake, it is hard for me to fall back to sleep. The best way for me to get "ungroggy" is by splashing cold water on my face and then go make some coffee so i can get some caffeine in me.

A quick shower and downing a cup of coffee usually does the trick for me...No weak coffee either; it has to be good and strong.

Caffine! LOL That is what I use. I guess everyone is different as my husband walks on the treadmill to make his groggyness go away.
