Do you take the time to rate?

When I respond to a discussion, yes I do read the other posts and rate them. I do not rate everyone in the discussion unless they all gave very good responses. I also decide whether to rate the one who started the discussion too. I do spend time on mylot rating others, and their discussions and posting to them. I only start maybe two discussions a wk as I like to see what everyone else is writing and chatting about.

yes, I do take the time to rate, if the discussion is a good one and thought provoking it gets a + the majority of the time, if it's something that I've seen hundreds of times, it prob gets a -. I feel it makes mylot a better place to rate because it will help weed out the spam questions in the end.

I rate "+" every topic that I response to you and my friends. I also rate "+" who replies to my start discussion.

Every discussion I open, I'll take my time to rate the first 3 pages or something, the one's I am reading, sometimes even 10 or something (if it is interesting offcourse.) But everyone should do it, if everybody says sometimes, than nobody knows if they are doing fine, great or bad. You have to rate, but if it's just not the response you would give but if it can be an answer on the question don't rate negative. Than don't rate or if you think that he is honest, because he is going in other directions than other users, give him a good rating.

Yes I do rate them all. Obviously if I don't like what they say I just ignore it or make a personal comment but YES, is the answer to your question !!

well, I like reading what people talk about here and what they answer to other discussion..I don't always have the time to read all what is written sometimes, but each time I reply to a discussion I'm used to read some of the other answers before posting mine. I think this is a way to open and widen my mind...you see sometimes I can agree, other time I might disagree with what it is written but I can always have a thought about the different opinions...and I like thinking and learning...discussing with other people is a way to learn and sometimes it is also one of the way we conveys our culture and knowledge to others.

I always take the time to rate every single person that replys to my post. I get a thousand a day, and it takes a lot of time, but I do it. I used to respond too, but there are not enough hours to do it anymore. But, I will to some of them. I give + ratings to everyone and always "best response" to the person that took the time to answer me and give me a true and honest answer.

I don't respond randomly so I guess the one who started the topic and those who responded well on the discussions that I chose to respond to deserve a + rate. And I also appreciate those who takes time reading and participating on the discussions I started. They can expect as + rate for their thoughts, that's for sure! :)
