Wall calendar, desktop, day planner, etc- which do you prefer?

I don't carry a purse, so I don't have room for any kind of day planner. I don't have much room on my desk for a desktop calendar- and those small ones tend to fall over. I much prefer wall calendars. I love looking at the pictures, I like having it there on my wall, easily accessible, away from desk clutter. I can take it down if I need to, and keep it up and out of the kid's reach as well. Which do you prefer, and why?

I have a clanedari nthe kitchen but have a fantastic little pad near my phone, it has a page for every day with a little kittne picture and a quote. There's just eough room to write job details and phone numbers etc for Shrek and it stays in one place unlike my pad so you can easilt finda person and rip their sheet off when their job is complete.

I have a dayplanner. However, I am bad to remember to enter everything into it. I don't carry it in my purse, so I write important things on teh edge of my checkbook or something, always promising myself that I will remember to enter it into the planner when I get home. Apparently I need to get a small planner that will fit into my purse or Alzheimer's meds from my physician!
