Did you get ahold of any long lost friends on myspace?

I know when you are in school, you always think you will keep in contact with 'certain' people. Well, years after you graduate, you lose contact with more and more people. And to actually get on myspace now, you can look up people you haven't talked to in years and find out where their life has led them. Have any of you found a friend you somehow lost contact with on myspace?

That's horrible. Sometimes, those friends are just better not being reconnected to! It's nice to just keep the memories you have had of them, and leave it at that. But, there are alot of people out there that things didn't go downhill so much for, and it is nice to get back in touch with them. I do overall love myspace...

True... there are still some people out there that maybe I'd like to reconnect with. I just can't think of who they are. Pretty much anyone I knew who I wanted to continue to know, I'm still in touch with. Except for a few people in middle school.
That one girl I looked further into her page and saw that she's got 3 kids. The oldest looks about 6. Wow! I feel sorry for her kids, she looks like a horrible parent from the stuff she posts there. :(

Oh my, I love me some myspace lol. I have lost contact with a lot of my old friends since graduation in 1996. Anyways I am so glad that myspace is avalible. I am so very to say I found my very best friend from elementary school and we just connected again and it was a wonderful thing.

That's awesome! I love myspace too. I constantly check 'my school' to keep up with the new people from my school that get on, and have found many friends like that. I also graduated in 1996. So, it has been a long time since I even spoke to alot of the people.

i love myspace too. after i stayed back in my 9th grade year, and moved away from my school district, i lost contact with a lot of my friends. because of myspace, ive found 2 of my old best friends, some other close friends from junior high, cousins i havent talked to in years, i can stay in contact with my brother and sister-in-law easier, ive found friends i lost when they moved to other school districts, plus it helps me stay in contact with everyone! myspace is a great thing, you just need to use it wisely!

I have. Actually she found me. I've had myspace for about a year now. I got it because a friend back home had it and made me get so we could keep in contact after I moved. Then suddenly a week or so ago I get a PM from an old friend from high school. I haven't seen her since graduation and haven't talked to her in about 5 years (we used to chat in e-mails). It has been so much fun chatting with her because we were pretty good friends in high school. I met her the first day of freshman year and we had one class together every single year.

I haven't found any friends from a very long time ago, but I've found some from high school on there and found out that they got married and stuff.
I really didn't know all that many people throughout school that I could even remember the names of to search for them.

I found an old neighbor from when I was like 6 or 7 years old. They moved away after that and I often thought of them and wondered where they were in their lives. I also found other neighbors from when I was 14 that I NEVER thought I would hear from or see again. Myspace is wonderful for things like that, but kinda defeats the purpose of 10 year high school reunions and stuff. I guess its a toss up on whether thats a good thing or a bad thing. Depends on the person.

Well, I know we had our ten year reunion not so long ago, and I just had no interest in going. Yeah, I know you have the opportunity of seeing friends there that you haven't seen for awhile, but, I just didn't want to go. I met up with people over myspace that didn't go either. So, maybe it doesn't hurt the chances of people going to the reunions, but, helps friends get back in touch.

yes i met up with a girl i was in the 3rd and 4th grade with. we have not actually hooked up and went to lunch or anything but we have chatted online and it is nice to reunite with old friends

I found my best friend from high school on myspace and have now been able to talk to her alot. I'm so glad I got to find her and reestablish contact. It is a great site.

I have reconnected with lots of people on myspace, including old coworkers and high school friends. It fun, and kinda weird, to catch up with these people since so much has changed in out respective lives. The coolest catch up was with a co-worker, who found me 10 years after I worked with him! We definitly had some catching up to do!

I actually have found quite alot of my old classmates on myspace! My best friend from High School was one of them! And I hate to admitt it, but yes I am a myspace junky! I said I would never be one of these people that all the time on myspace...you know the saying..."never say never!"

I lived in the same town for 26 years. I've been away from my hometown just over 12 years now. I kept in touch with a couple of friends from home this whole time. But about 5 years ago I joined Classmates.com, and was able to reconnect with a few hundred of my old classmates. And now with MySpace, I have found a few more. With my high school reunion coming up this summer, I'm very glad to have been in touch with these people. I'm excited about seeing them again. We are scattered all over the world.

I actually have a lot of my classmates on myspace. One of the girls has been my friend since kindergarten. I know everyone on my friends list personally, except for Dane Cook. I'd like to know him personally though!
