Please, can anyone help me here? My arthritis pain is now keeping me awake.

I was awake most of last night due to the pain. I feel like a crippled old lady. I find it in my neck at present and I have occasional episodes where I turn my head and it feels like something catches and then pops or snaps loose. It has gotten really bad in the past two weeks. I have had my knees scraped for the arthritis in them. My pain is traveling from my ankle to my knees to hip to my elbow to my back and neck and just about all over. I am only 54 and last night I prayed for relief or a speedy end to the pain. No one should hurt like this! Could it be something in my diet? Please, any ideas here?

I feel so bad for you. I know what it is to have pain I too awake in the night with pain. My doctor put me on something that is a non narctocic pain reliever and it works like a charm. If I dont take it all day long I will awake with pain. You should tell your doctor you need something for the pain. I hope you are feeling better. Take care

I am considering that since I now am having tight muscles in my shoulders from it. Apparently many people in my area are complaining about the same symptoms. The humidity is way up and the temperature is below 50 during the day and in the 20's at night. This can cause severe pain when a person has had injuries in the past. It is painful in areas I have had injuries. I find that hot baths help and I am going to stop and get some of the heat patches to wear at work. That might help. I do not have insurance presently and I can't afford the high cost of medications. I hope thaat changes soon. Thanks for your advice!
