I use a product called "Nature's Miracle Stain Remover for Cats". It gets rid of the smell of urine and poo and is great for vomit stains, also. So far, this is the best product that has worked for me. I've used it on all 3 types of stains and has worked. You can get it at any pet store.

I try to clean the litterbox or floor as soon as possible. I also wipe the floor and if necessary, clean it with some water and chlorox. The smell is usually gone by then, although I have to admit that some of it lingers for a few minutes after the cleanup. The key is to get it up and out of the way as soon as possible.

Hi there....Nature's Miracle "Just for Cats" (not the plain Nature's Miracle) truly does work! It's an enzymatic cleaner which breaks down urine and feces proteins by pouring the product on the affected areas and then allowing to air dry (not blot dry). Heavily soiled areas require multiple applications to eliminate the odours. We use this for a exotic cats which have very potent urine/feces odours and this product amazingly well.
