Which Processor is the best at itz performance... . Intel or Amd

Which company's processor give better performance. .. is it Intel's or amd's .. .processor ... and which one is having the topest now a days...

At this moment Intel has better processors than AMD.Especially with the new series Core2Duo.

I believe Intel has a faster speed processor, but AMD is just as good. AMD is relatively new, but I have heard great things about it.
