I am not sure about this. I recently got out of a relationship, and I am contiplating getting into another one. He is a really great guy, but I am so afraid of getting hurt again. I think the only thing you can do to take away the hurt is to take it one day at a time.

Lots of people believe that a new relationship can make you recover from the old one faster. Personally, I believe that when you jump into a new relationship, without having come to terms with the old one, you are just going to repeat the behaviors that made you lose the last one. When you're not over your last relationship fully, that's when a lot of people have 'baggage' from the previous relationship, and they usually end up bringing that baggage into the new one. Not sure, but I think that starting a new one, when the old one is not resolved in your heart yet, is what rebound relationships are made of.
