Is Cedar Point still there?

Can't remember where in Ohio it was, just remember going there when I was about 5 and we lived in Galion (30 years ago). Also, is, or was, there a big net like thing you could climb on, almost like a Pirate Ship? Or would that have been at another park in that general area? Odd what memories come to you of when you were smaller

I'm not sure I know exactly what you're talking about with the "big net like thing". There used to be a Sir Camelot's Castle (or something of that sort), that kids could climb on. I'm almost certain they took that out though, with all the renovations they've been doing lately.

It's possible that's what it was. Like I said I was 5 when we went and all I can remember this this giant net type thing we got to climb on, and over.

Yes, it's still in Sandusky, Ohio. I used to go there all the time when I was younger but I havent been there in years! I cant wait to take my kids there when they are old enough to ride the rides! It's just soo expensive these days to go between cost of admission and food/games in the park!

Still there on Lake Erie. I haven't gone in years. For most of the time we went to Gueaga Lake. It was smaller cheaper and you didn't have to wait in line so long.

Yep, Sandusky! I haven't been in 10 years or so, but it's a great park. I would like to go someday soon. Kings Island is also another great park to visit. It's closer to me, so I go there more often!

Yea it's there in Sandusky. The last time I went was last year. I still haven't been on the Top Thrill Dragster yet, but the Millenium Force is a great ride, and worth the wait.

Yes, it is still in Sandusky Ohio. It is off of the town on a small, amusement park shaped island just to the north of Sandusky. I just went there this past week. I did not see a pirate ship type thing, and am not sure if it is there, and I doubt that it is at Cedar Point, because I basically walked around the whole park and saw nothing of the sort. It has gotten bigger since I last visited (15 years ago), and has added a ton of new, awesome rides. You should go!
