Until I moved to Florida, I had no idea how many bugs there were in this world. No matter how much I spray, I can't seem to get rid of the silverfish, does anybody know what attracts them and how the heck I can get rid of them?

I'm pretty sure that old-fashioned mothballs made of camphor work (I have memories of my mother using them against silverfish). But am not sure where you'd buy them.

Thanks, I think they still sell mothballs. I'm pretty sure I seen them near the laundry products in the store...I wonder how safe it may be because I am afraid my daughter might think it's candy.

I hate silver fish they are so disgusting. I had never seen them before last year. They were in my backroom which is pretty much an unheated enclosed porch. Since it started snowing around here there have been these gross little bugs all over the snow and sometimes in the back room and they get in to other parts of our house. Last night a friend was over and I showed him the bugs he said they are going to be silver fish. He said to put 20 mule team borax all around the perimeter of the house and it will keep the silverfish from bothering us. I dont know how well it will work but its worth a try.
