My hubby & I are planning a trip to LA, to play at the Grand Casino Coushatta. Is there any tips that you can give that would help us retain some of our money...or winning techniques? I like roulette & my hubby is a slots guy. All info will be apprectated, we have been before, and came out even, I would like to come out ahead this time! lol

I knew a gal who worked for awhile in Vegas as a change lady in the areas around the slots. She would keep watch and call her boyfriend up and tell him which machines hadn't hit in awhile. He would then come to the casino and play those machines. Don't know if that works or not but she said it did sometimes.

Thanks for responding, I will try to play machines that look like they haven't hit. Maybe I'll get lucky!

Just wanted to add, I had a friend that went up to Reno quite often that made friends with a change person and would ask which machines hadn't hit in awhile, he always came home with more money than he took up. Good luck to you!

If you're serious about trying to win, you need to find some games with a skill element to play, unlike roulette or the slots. If you just want the entertainment value and want to minimize your losses while still having a good time, then let the total amount you wager be the smallest amount that will still make it interesting and exciting for you. Slots and roulette have no skill element, and you are only losing money in the long run. Check out http://wizardofodds.com/ if you want some real info. They break down nearly every popular game you can gamble on and explain what the house edge is and whatnot.

Thanks for the information. I will check out that site. I am not looking to win enough to retire on, even though that would be nice, I am looking to at least come out even.

I played the slots in vegas and won $600.00 within a few minutes. By the end of the afternoon I had won a total of $2500.00. It was so much fun! I love the slots and I think you just go go and have fun and wish for the best.

If you go for play it, be nicely to be canceled and get another game to have fun. - How you feel, happines or sad or angry, dont bring your emotion when you play. - Lucky not everytime and always with you, good gambler know when to start and when to stop. Ok, happy nice day and good luck.

I'ts easy to win at the roulette table. I'm a dealer at a casino and I can give you a few tips. First and foremost is that you have to be patient. You have to watch the habits of the dealer/s that spins the ball. A rule of thumb is that a an experienced guy is more consistent in placing the ball. Next, look at the roulette wheel. Study the numbers that consistently hit and locate it on the wheel. The wheel consists of 37 or 38 numbers (including 0 and 00), so you divide it by 4, which is roughly 10 numbers. Just place your bets on these numbers that consistently hit and you have a fairly good chance of winning every spin. If you want to raise your chances, include 3 numbers before or after your 10 numbers. Don't forget to tip generously; remember, roulette is the only game where the dealer can influence the outcome. If the dealer is happy, he'll try his best to make you win. If these tips help you, please mark it (+). Let me know if you won. Good luck!!!
